Claire Craddock – Maths Leader / Deputy Headteacher
The Deputy Headteacher with responsibility for Mathematics:
- Assistant Maths Hub Lead for Central Maths Hub
- MA in Specialist Primary Mathematics (Edgehill University)
- NCETM Mastery Specialist (cohort 1 & England-China Exchange Programme 2016-2017)
- National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Maths (NCETM) accredited professional development lead and programme facilitator
- Specialist Leader in Education for Oaks Collegiate
With these quality marks, Ms Craddock trains teachers and maths subject leaders from other schools across the Midlands and beyond. For example:
- Teaching Mastery Lead for Central Maths Hub – supporting and coordinating the
team of 13 Teaching for Mastery Specialists - Working as an active Teaching for Mastery Specialist – delivering TfM Readiness,
Developing, Embedding and Sustaining workgroups - NCETM PD Lead Programme,
- NCETM Specialist Knowledge for Teaching Maths for teachers and also Teaching
Assistants, - NCETM Year 5 to 8 workgroups,
- Leading sessions for the termly Subject Leaders Network meetings and whole day
Subject Knowledge Enhancement on behalf of Services for Education; - Deeper Learning Days on behalf of DRB Ignite
- Supporting schools with bespoke teacher days and twilights (as far away as Jersey
and Sussex)
