About the Maths Leader
Claire Craddock – Maths Leader / Deputy Headteacher
The Deputy Headteacher with responsibility for Mathematics:
- MA in Specialist Primary Mathematics (Edgehill University)
- Teaching for Mastery Lead and Strategic Partner for the Central Maths Hub
- NCETM Mastery Specialist (cohort 1 & England-China Exchange Programme 2016-2017)
- National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Maths (NCETM) accredited professional development lead and programme facilitator
- Specialist Leader in Education for Oaks Collegiate
With these quality marks, Ms Craddock trains teachers and maths subject leaders from other schools across the Midlands and beyond. For example:
- Leading the NCETM PD Lead Programme,
- Developing and delivering the NCETM Subject Knowledge for Teaching Maths (SKTM) for teachers and also Teaching Assistants
- Developing and delivering Mastery Development Days for the Central Maths Hub
- Leading sessions for the termly Subject Leaders Network meetings and whole day Subject Knowledge Enhancement on behalf of Services for Education
- Delivering the NCETM Year 5 to 8 Continuity Programme
- Deeper Learning Days on behalf of DRB Ignite
- Developing programmes for the Catholic Schools Partnership
- Supporting schools with bespoke teacher days and twilights (as far away as Jersey and Sussex)
